What is the current passion you are pursuing?

I am fearlessly pursuing a rap career as rap music has been been in my life since birth.  In the pursuit of this career I realize the action of “pursuing” is more of an attempt at releasing or letting go of my past desires that stem from my sense of self in order to focus on the moment and be fully present while indulged in my craft.

Anything in particular that sparked your drive to pursue these passions?

The state of affairs in my country (US) in regards to the racial justice/ systemic issues we see black/brown people have been facing for far too long.  I want to be an advocate for positive change in all human rights groups who are oppressed.

Can you describe an instance or a situation when you faced significant fear or doubt in your life in which you successfully came out on the other side?

Most people I know in real life including friends and family know that make music but many don’t openly support me by liking or sharing my content.  This brought on a lot of fear, anger, and anxiety about whether I was “good enough” to “make it” as a rapper.  I still struggle with this now, so I meditate to practice focusing on being present while letting go of “self” and my desires.  By accepting the energy that I receive from the universe to live a fully present life, my desires to attain the validation of others seems far away.

What is your overall mindset/mantra in pursuing your passion despite fear or obstacles that come your way?
  • Great talents ripen late.
  • It’s not what we do, but the source from which we do it.
  • The world is ruled by letting things take their course.

“In order to be really good at something you have to be really bad at it first.”

“To accept yourself is to accept others when others don’t accept you”
